Sept 09 Week of Stuff

So, we made it 11 Years!! Yeah! Yipee!

We decided to take a trip to Grand Forks, North Dakota. For us in Winnipeg, that is an outing where you can walk outside without mosquitos!!!! Anyway, we had a couple wonderful days of ....................

You didn't REALLY think I was going to show you, did you??

Jim bought us a new game to play-You might be a Redneck if... Game. The goal of the game is to get one Recliner, Hound Dog, Satellite Dish, Jerky TV, and Fly Swatter. And it has questions like: "You might be a Redneck if...You've skipped work A. To go Trapshooting B. To watch NASCAR on TV C. For a sidewalk Sale. (Correct answer is C but personally, I wouldn't skip work, just go for a LONG lunch!) Interesting think about this game, I don't find the answers unusual. Does that mean...?

And now and then, we get Grandkids to play with. Our youngest Granddaughter has been in Winnipeg the past two weeks She was playing Hackey-Sak with Spence. Hav'n a ball tryin to kick that thing.

And Grandpa havin' a ball with her and the cabbage patch doll he bought her.

He will let her do ANYTHING!

So, tomorrow we Hailey-sit for the afternoon. Guess she might be going to sign-language meeting with us. She is such a little talker, won't that be an event for her!!! And an opportunity for us to show her off.

And the other thing that has filled our week: Trying to find another car! YIKES!

Went to test drive a Toyota Corolla. (Salesman lied-won't buy there!)

REALLY liked this Nissan Versa. Test drove it.

Test drove an Elantra.

Test Drove a Pontiac Vibe.

Test drove another Nissan Versa.

Sat in a Toyota Yaris

(Thought I wanted one of those, but add a couple winter coats and we would be stuffed in that thing) End of the day, REALLY like the 1st Nissan Versa but... Waiting on our ship to come in so we can go pick up our car at the pier. I just WISH I had a picture for you of my new car. Maybe, just maybe, will have a picture next week.
